There is great shopping at Bald Hills and its vicinity. Visit the Strathpine Westfield Centre, with its multitude of boutiques, or the Bracken Ridge and Brighton Shopping Centres for all your local shopping.
For a tranquil interlude, spend some time at Barungwarra Bushland Reserve. Everyone will love to come to this park with its flat walking trails, boat ramps with access to the Pine River, its off-leash dog areas and picturesque bikeways. The local Bald Hills Bushies have transformed this area into one of the most diverse habitats for birds in the Brisbane region. Canterbury Park also offers off-leash dog areas as well as playgrounds for children. Teenagers love to go to Gus Davies Park with its bicycle jumps and rebound wall.
Bald Hills is close to the Gateway Arterial Road which joins the northern aspects of Brisbane to the southern suburbs.
