Beachmere is situated on the delta of the Caboolture River and is part of the Caboolture Shire. The town is located near many beaches and excellent fishing. It is in the enviable position of being close enough for people to commute from their tranquil homes to their employment in Brisbane, Caboolture or even Deception Bay.
The proximity to all of these cities/towns, coupled with the majestic Beachmere Lake, is dragging the reluctant relaxed fishing hotspot into the larger suburban sprawl of the cities as you can see from the aerial photographs of Beachmere. This allows the residents to enjoy lounging on the beach near their house, escape the hectic lifestyle of the city and commute and to own their own peace of fishing heaven.
