Deception Bay Aerial Photos
The suburb of Deception Bay is located 30 kilometres North of Brisbane and is in the south east corner of Deception Bay, a small corner of Moreton Bay. Deception Bay separates the Redcliffe Peninsula and Bribie Island. Explorer John Oxley named Deception Bay in 1823. He had thought he was navigating a river because of the shallowness of the bay. It’s the shallowness of the bay that makes it a popular destination for anglers, boating and swimming. Add to Description →
