Fairfield Information

Aerial photos of Fairfield clearly show the relationship that the suburbs of Fairfield and Dutton Park have to the Brisbane River and to the suburbs across the river - St Lucia and Ironside.

Access to St Lucia and the University of Queensland has been improved with a pedestrian and bus bridge, the Eleanor Schonell Bridge. Access can be gained by foot or bicycle via Gladstone Road or Annerley Road, Dutton Park with drop off zones on both roads.

Fairfield’s major shopping centre is the Fairfield Gardens Shopping Centre. West End is close by for discount shopping and fabulous food experiences. The Pacific Highway is easily accessible from Fairfield.
