Earlville Information
Aerial photos of Earlville show the eastern part has a large proportion of commercial property, with a major shopping centre, Stocklands Earlville, being situated in the middle of the suburb, on Mulgrave Road. Earlville is a stone’s throw away from Trinity Bay and Woree. The western part of the suburb is quite steep and the residential portion of this suburb is mostly located in this area.
Earlville has one primary school, Balaclava Primary School. Recreation in the suburb includes a tennis park, Lions Park and Henleys Hills Park which is home to both baseball and cricket. The Parks retirement village is conveniently situated here.
Situated nearby, the showgrounds and the Cannon Park Raceway, provide some entertainment. Close suburbs of Bungalow, Parramatta Park Westcourt and Manunda are all older established suburbs of Cairns.
