Aerial Photos of The Sunshine Coast are the only way to show its true beauty. The Sunshine coast is a region just one hour north of the Queensland capital Brisbane, and has a population of approx 248,000. Known for its consistent perfect weather it receives an average of seven hours of sunshine daily, earning it its name the Sunshine Coast. During summer, temperatures are usually between 17-28 degrees, eased by cooling breezes, particularly along the beaches. Winter is usually mild and sunny, with temperatures between 7-28 degrees. During the seasons of spring and autumn, the weather is "perfect", and so this is a popular time for visitors to stay.

Sunshine Coast Information
This coastal region encapsulates three local government areas, Maroochy Shire, Noosa Shire and the City of Caloundra. The Sunshine Coast's borders include the Pacific Ocean to the east and the Blackall Range to the west, reaching up to Cooloola and down to Caloundra, one hours drive north of Brisbane.
Other well-known places that are included in this region include Coolum, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headlands, Buderim, Nambour and occasionally, Gympie.
Some of the more popular places to stay are situated along the direct coastline to the Pacific Ocean. Coolum, Noosa, Alexandra Headland, Mooloolaba, Caloundra and Maroochydore all combine to present perfect surfing conditions and pristine beaches for the general public. These locations are all situated within an hour of each other and offer activities all year round for the whole family.
The Sunshine Coast offers numerous tourist attractions and places of interest. These include the famous Ettamogah Pub, situated right next to Aussie World, Forest Glen Sanctuary, and the Super Bee. Other family oriented parks include The Big Pineapple, Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo and UnderWater World. Tourists are also able to take a leisurely stroll through the streets of Maleny, Montville and Mapleton, each filled with alternative culture mixed with fabulous arts and crafts to indulge even the most disapproving of critiques. Eumundi also provides the chance to shop among the abundant fruit and vegetable stalls of the markets and of course Noosa, world-renowned for its high class restaurants and cafes streched along Hasting street parallel to the blue water of Noosa's Main Beach.
