There are probably more aerial photos of Caloundra West than any other part of the Sunshine Coast. Why? Caloundra West is home to Caloundra Aerodrome with its runway leading directly into the iconic Glasshouse Mountains. When you are circling in to land, you fly in over the deep blue Pumicestone Passage and enjoy stunning views over Golden Beach, Bribie Island, Caloundra and Little Mountain as well as the breathtaking Glasshouse Mountains.
