Currimundi Information

For the older kids and adults the surfing beach is the way to go. Many local children end up here after the Currimundi Primary School ends for the day. The local Sports and Recreation Centre is another highlight for locals.

Currimundi is a great place for a holiday. Stay at one of the many top quality motels and caravan grounds to make your visit more enjoyable. If you tire of swimming at Currimundi, then visit the family oriented Kings Beach or Moffat Beach, both a short drive to the south on Nicklin Way. Turn to the north form Currimundi and you will have numerous golden sandy beaches to choose from!

After swimming, take a stroll through the wallum heath, the natural flora of the region, at the Currimundi Lake Conservation Park. Enjoy a picnic with the family in this natural setting.

Visit some of the many world renowned local attractions on the Sunshine Coast: Underwater World at Mooloolaba, Australia Zoo at Landsborough, and the Deer Sanctuary at Forest Glen. Take the kids to a water slide at Aussie World or give them the thrilling experience of a go kart ride at the Big Cart Track.

There is always plenty to do at Currimundi on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast!
