Dicky Beach Information

This popular surf beach is a suburb of Caloundra City. Visitors here often stay at Dicky Beach Family Holiday Park which is situated right on the foreshore. The park offers accommodation for campers and caravans as well as having units for those who like more creature comforts. Dicky Beach House sleeps up to 8 and so is a great home for visiting families.

To the south, it is a short walk to Moffat and Shelley Beaches. Cross over Twoway Creek, a small tree-lined creek open to the beach. From Shelley Beach, you can walk around Wickham Point at low tide to Kings Beach, the favourite surfing beach in Caloundra. Climb to the top of the point at Caloundra Head to view all these fabulous beaches seen in these stunning aerial photos.

Caloundra is also a great place for fishermen. Hire a boat for some excellent fishing in Pumicestone Passage or join a charter for some deep sea fishing. There are excellent catches of winter whiting, bream and flathead in the passage. For the golfer, try eighteen holes at the Caloundra Golf Club.

Dicky Beach is a wonderful quiet place for a holiday with all the trimmings of the Sunshine Coast at your doorstep.
