Mooloolaba Information
This idyllic tourist destination is a Mecca for locals and tourists. Surfing at Mooloolaba Beach, exploring the Beacon Lighthouse Reserve at Point Cartwright, cruising the river or lounging by the beach, dining and sipping coffee, there is so much to do.
Hire a car and explore the numerous beaches on the Sunshine Coast, just north of Brisbane, the State capital of Queensland. These aerial photos show Alexandra Headland to the north, protecting the next beach. Minyama is just to the south and offers another great surfing beach.
There is safe anchorage at the Mooloolaba Boat Harbour with its easy access. Visit the Yacht Club on the Mooloolah River, just minutes from the ocean and a short step from one of Queensland’s best beaches.
The Mooloolaba Wharf offers great food and entertainment to the region. Also at Mooloolaba Wharf is Underwater World, where you and the kids can walk through the massive underwater aquarium and get up close and personal with the sharks and other fish.
