Burrum Heads Information

There is a variety of rental accommodation for both short and long term stays. People return again and again to this tranquil village with its secluded restaurants. Explore the Burrum River with your fishing tackle, or try your luck at Burrum Point or North Shore Point on the northern banks. Hire a boat and fish round Gregory Islands in the mouth of the river. Stay in a beachfront camping ground or buy a slice of paradise in the way of a waterfront home.

The Burrum Coast National Park has three sections: the Kinkuna, Woodgate and Burrum River areas. Located to the east of Bundaberg, the Park has quiet beaches, flowering heathlands and an abundant wildlife. There are several walking tracks which start on Burrum Heads Road, just before entering the township. There are tea-tree swamps and Livistona palms, eucalypt forests and Goodwood gums to appreciate in this wonderful natural environment.
