Calavos Information

This idyllic lifestyle is just fifteen kilometres from the coastal city of Bundaberg in Queensland. Calavos is a short distance from Elliott Heads and Coral Cove, with its International Golf and Country Club.

Calavos is semi rural and quickly becoming a sought after suburb with its proximity to Riverview with its fabulous fishing. You will find the house of your dreams here, with a mixture of rural and modern properties.

If you like water then you will love living here in Calavos. Barolin Rocks, near Innes Park, is a fantastic place for a night dive with its hard and soft corals close to shore. See the cowrie shells on the rock wall. Barolin Rocks is part of Woongarra Marine Park which has some of Australia’s most accessible shore dives. While at Innes Park, take a stroll along the Esplanade from the rocks to Palmers Creek.

Just a few minutes drive from Calavos is Elliott Heads, at the mouth of the picturesque Elliott River. Just over the river to the north is Riverview, another small town on the shores of the Elliott River. Here you can surf or swim in the calm waters of the river, fish, jet ski, board sail or indulge yourself in any of the variety of water sports now available.
