Also featured in this area are The Esplanade, Riverview Nature Reserve, the Elliott River and Hervey Bay. Each attraction helps to create an impressive atmosphere that is greatly appreciated in aerial photos of Riverview.

Riverview is on the northern bank of the Elliott River and is popular for people wanting a quiet fishing holiday or to escape the rat-race for a time. Riverview has an all weather and all tide boat ramp for the keen boaties in the area.

Elliott Heads is a small village at the southern bank of the Elliott River and is about 15 minutes drive from Bundaberg.

A few kilometres out from the mouth of Elliott River is the Cochrane Artificial Reef popular with divers and fishermen alike. Sharks Nest corner in the Elliott River has been the site of many large barramundi and mangrove jack catches.

If fishing isn’t your thing, a few kilometres from Riverview is the Coral Cove International Golf Course.
